We leave the path and enter the forest. We are all happy and full of energy, less Khandido who wore a semblance of respect for the dead, and perhaps some fear. For the cernunnos, and like the Celts, they believe that during the feast of Samhain the wandering souls and demons appear, so it is advisable to stay at home and if you want to leave it is better that you do it in disguise, this way they will confuse you with one of them.
But returning to the happy part, Glipto has been waiting for this day with great enthusiasm, he really wanted to sing some typical songs of our land, a way to celebrate the Day of the Creole Song. For Loreley, although she has a special day for her dead relatives, she celebrates it on another date, even so, she tries to be respectful with this party. In the case of Alexander this day cannot be as different as any other, it is just another day of partying. Eros and Nessa are two others who treat this day with indifference, it does not surprise me because they do not have a celebration dedicated to this date, and that does not stop them from acting as lovebirds. Khalid also does not have something to "celebrate" on this date, however, since this is a day dedicated to the dead, it seems to force him not only to be part of this party but to maintain a certain respect and serious attitude, maybe that's why he isn’t next to Apophis, otherwise they would be acting like Eros and Nessa.
On second thought, I do not even know if this day represents something for Apophis and for Eloy. Do demons even have special days for something specific? I do not know, however, they seem to have coupled well with the celebration with Glipto. Macario on the other hand ... I do not understand why he painted himself, if it had been for Khandido he would have made him disguise himself. I think that many movies are affecting him, that or he wanted to paint himself as they do on the Day of the Dead in Mexico, although I doubt it, knowing him, he would not look for a meaning to something. Most likely, he was just looking for something with which to look good for the date, with the reason to drink, eat and only he knows what else. That would only leave Alejandro. Although he is from Mexico he doesn´t seem to celebrate the Day of the Dead, although it makes sense since he was locked up from a very young age to even understand the meaning of this date. At least we are making ourselves company. We talked a bit, but he seemed a bit uncomfortable, he never liked big meetings with lots of music and lights.
With that, it just leaves me. What does this day mean to me? Although in my country we celebrate the Day of the Creole song, I have never been present in one even to imitate it. The first time I heard about this Halloween party was because Eloy put some movies so we could watch when Khalid, Macario and I were little. Christmas, Halloween, Easter, I had never heard those words before then. I just do not have it clear, in that sense, maybe it's a mixture of everything. For me, regardless of the form or the day, it is a momment to share with the living and the dead.
That and, for the little ones, is the perfect excuse to be able to eat some sweets or fruits without being questioned by the amount.
